Please use the troubleshooting below to resolve the following issues with Sim Racing Studio:
- Sim Racing Studio is stuck on Loading..., freezes or crashes
- No motion, shake, or wind when playing a game
- Sim Racing Studio and another App are Blocking each other
- Intellibox has a Red X or keeps Connecting and Reconnecting
- simracinstudio.exe not valid win32 application Win 10: unable to start 0xc000007b error
- Failed to execute script main error
- Windows Defender Firewall is blocking Sim Racing Studio
Prior to any troubleshooting below, always make sure you have the latest version of Sim Racing Studio from our Downloads page. It is also recommended to download and try the Latest Beta from the Latest Beta button in the upper right of the Downloads page as it often will have fixes for new issues or support for the latest games.

Sim Racing Studio is stuck on Loading..., freezes or crashes
When opening Sim Racing Studio the window is stuck with a Loading... message, or SRS is freezing or crashing, try the troubleshooting in the SRS stuck on Loading, freezes, or crashes article.
Sim Racing Studio is displaying a message about about the Shakers soundcard
check_surround = no
default_soundcard = no
No motion, shake, or wind when playing a game
- If there is no motion, shake effects, or wind when playing a game, ensure the game is Ready to play by following the guidance in How to make a game Ready to play.
- If the game is Ready to play, check that you have an active Sim Racing Studio from Activating your SRS License Key.
- If there is still no motion, check the Support Platforms section for troubleshooting.
- If there are no shake effects during a game, check the U-Shake6 and ShakeKits Troubleshooting articles.
- If there is no wind effects during a game, check Wind Kit Troubleshooting.
Sim Racing Studio and another App are Blocking each other
If you are using Sim Racing Studio with another application and neither of them are working correctly, please try UDP Port Forwarding.
Intellibox has a Red X or keeps Connecting and Reconnecting
If your Intellibox has a Red X in Hardware Status, shows a "!" in Device Manager or keeps connecting and reconnecting preventing you from using your Wind Kits or LED Go Strips, use the Intellibox Troubleshooting.
simracinstudio.exe not valid win32 application Win 10: unable to start 0xc000007b
If you are receiving the following error: "simracinstudio.exe not valid win32 application Win 10: unable to start 0xc000007b", reinstall the C++ redistributable to solve the error.
Failed to execute script main error
- If you receive a "Failed to execute script main" error, ensure you are running Windows 10 64-bit.
- If you still receive the error after verifying you are using Windows 10 64-bit, perform a Fresh Install of Sim Racing Studio.
- If you continue to have issues after a Fresh Install, please submit a New Support Ticket at the top of this page.
Windows Defender Firewall is blocking Sim Racing Studio
When installing Sim Racing Studio for the first time, be sure to click BOTH options in 'Allow SimRacingStudio App to communicate on these networks" so that Private networks and Public networks are selected as seen below:
