If you are unable to open Sim Racing Studio that stuck on Loading, freezes, or crashes troubleshooting is unable to resolve, please perform a Fresh Install. The Fresh Install of Sim Racing Studio will clear any potential corruption in Sim Racing Studio's configuration files and databases.


Warning: As with a Factory Reset, this will erase all your settings and motion profiles and will reset Sim Racing Studio as if it were the first time you installed it. Please make a copy of your settings and motion profiles before proceeding. 

If you have a Premium Add-on Subscription, you can use Sim Racing Studio Cloud Backup to restore your motion profiles after you complete procedure below.



1) Exit Sim Racing Studio

2) In Windows, go to your Documents folder and rename the folder "SimRacingStudio 2.0" to "SimRacingStudio 2_bkp". This will ensure the previous settings in Sim Racing Studio are not utilized for the Fresh Install. 


3) Download the latest version of Sim Racing Studio from the Download page


4) Install the latest version of Sim Racing Studio.

5) In Sim Racing Studio, go to SETUP > HARDWARE and verify your hardware settings are correct. The latest versions of Sim Racing Studio store hardware parameters in the Windows Registry and set them back automatically. Older versions of Sim Racing Studio completely delete the hardware information.


6) If you are a Premium Add-On Subscriber, you can now use the Sim Racing Studio Cloud Backup to restore your motion profiles.
