If you have purchased a Sim Racing Studio OBD2 HUD Emulator, you can easily connect it to your OBD2 LCD HUD Display by following the steps below:
IMPORTANT: NEVER PAIR THE SRS OBD2 HUD EMULATOR IN THE WINDOWS BLUETOOTH SETTINGS. IF IT'S PAIRED, PLEASE UNPAIR IT BEFORE YOU START.
- Connect the power connector to the SRS OBD2 HUD Emulator. Note: There might not be an indicator light when first connected.
- Next, take your OBD2 LCD HUD Display and connect ONLY the OBD cable to the SRS OBD2 HUD Emulator. Note: Even after this step there will still not be anything displayed on the OBD2 LCD HUD Display and it will still be black.
- Restart your computer
- Once your computer has restarted, open Sim Racing Studio.
- In the HARDWARE STATUS window on the right side of Sim Racing Studio, you should now see a Green check-mark next to Hud. Note: The OBD2 LCD HUD Display will still show as black.
- Finally, start a supported game and you now see the Hud display begin working by displaying the Speed and other telemetry.
