If you have purchased a Sim Racing Studio OBD2 HUD Emulator, you can easily connect it to your OBD2 LCD HUD Display by following the steps below:

IMPORTANT: NEVER PAIR THE SRS OBD2 HUD EMULATOR IN THE WINDOWS BLUETOOTH SETTINGS. IF IT'S PAIRED, PLEASE UNPAIR IT BEFORE YOU START.

  1. Connect the power connector to the SRS OBD2 HUD Emulator. Note: There might not be an indicator light when first connected.
  2. Next, take your OBD2 LCD HUD Display and connect ONLY the OBD cable to the SRS OBD2 HUD Emulator. Note: Even after this step there will still not be anything displayed on the OBD2 LCD HUD Display and it will still be black.
  3. Restart your computer
  4. Once your computer has restarted, open Sim Racing Studio.
  5. In the HARDWARE STATUS window on the right side of Sim Racing Studio, you should now see a Green check-mark next to Hud. Note: The OBD2 LCD HUD Display will still show as black.
  6. Finally, start a supported game and you now see the Hud display begin working by displaying the Speed and other telemetry.
