If you are getting Error 127.0.0.1 refused to connect error, please try the following troubleshooting steps:


  • Install Chrome or Edge Chromium
  • Clean out the browser cache
  • Verify your antivirus, firewall or proxy is not blocking simracingstudio.exe
  • Make sure "documents/simracingstudio 2.0" folder is NOT read only
  • Reboot PC


You can also try the procedure below:


  1. Close Sim Racing Studio
  2. Edit the config.ini file located in Documents\SimRacingStudio 2.0\
  3. Change the flag force_manual_quit from no to yes

    [APP]
    force_manual_quit = yes
  4. Save the config.ini file
  5. Start Sim Racing Studio
