If you have special characters in your sound card name, Sim Racing Studio will not be able to save your sound card in SETUP > Hardware > SHAKERS field. This will cause the Soundcard to reset whenever Sim Racing Studio opens.
Please follow instructions below to rename your sound card to fix the issue:
- Open the Windows Control Panel
- Click on Sound
- Select your sound card
- Click on Properties
- Rename the sound card in the General tab
- Click OK
Restart Sim Racing Studio
Go to Setup -> Hardware
Select the new sound card name in the Soundcard drop down field in the SHAKERS section
Click Save in the upper right PROFILE IN USE box
